The Fifth wave, by Rick Yancy, is a
book that has action, adventure, romance, and a sci-fi element. One thing I
noticed, was that the main characters perspective on life changed completely,
along with her actual life, as well. What I liked most was all of the twists
that the Author throws at you. This book is similar to pretty much any other
book about aliens; that is one of the reasons that I disliked the book.
Something that confused me was some of the characters choices, because they did
some very unnecessary things that had no importance to the story.
As I was reading I thought the book
was a little slow, but around the end of the book it was very thrilling. I
think this, because the end is when everything really happened. Another thing I
noticed was that the book was kind of repetitive. It was obvious when the
author was about to throw a curveball.
Overall it was a good book and I would recommend it.
That book sounds very interesting. I usually like sci-fi books and plan to read that series possibly at some point.
